Merchants Bank & Trust Voted Top Workplace for the Second Time
Cincinnati, OH, June 17, 2012: For the second time in three years, Merchants Bank & Trust has been named by the Cincinnati Enquirer as one of the 2012 Top Places to Work in the Greater Cincinnati area.
With six locations throughout Ohio and Indiana, Merchants Bank was nominated by its employees for the distinction earlier last winter. Following the nomination, the Enquirer and Enquirer Media conducted a comprehensive employee interview and review process to determine the final award winners for Cincinnati’s Top Places to Work.
“With our strong stance on community support and our unique style of personal service for our customers and local businesses, we work diligently to cultivate the same caring and understanding environment right inside our own doors,” said Don Patterson, President and CEO of Merchants Bank & Trust. “I’m proud to be a part of a local community bank organization that creates a positive difference and nowhere is this more evident than in the caliber of employees that make up the Merchants family.”
In just its third year, this accolade from the Enquirer recognizes businesses in the area where employees feel valued for their ideas, skills and contributions. This is the second time Merchants Bank has been nominated for and awarded the Top Workplace distinction.
“Our bank signature is ‘exceptional outcomes,’” said Patterson. “So it’s an honor to know that our employees benefit from the same remarkable results we strive to deliver every day to our clients.”
