Throughout the years, our employees have volunteered their time and talent to a variety of worthwhile causes and service organizations. And, we’ve given generously to many organizations that help make our community a better place to live and work. 

As a corporate neighbor, we feel it’s our responsibility to help keep the communities we serve both vital and strong. We believe this is achieved through community involvement and education. As part of this mission, we’ve made a commitment to support the efforts of the Main Street Harrison organization. The mission of Main Street Harrison is to create an environment and atmosphere in downtown Harrison that attracts and encourages development, promotes a renewed sense of community pride and provides a healthy place for people to live and work. 

We’ve also formed a business partnership with Harrison High School. As part of this partnership, our employees teach a hands-on banking class to high school seniors. The class provides the opportunity for students to open and manage their own checking account, even though they are under the age of 18. The goal of the course is to teach financial responsibility. We also sponsor the Harrison High School Scholarship Fund Golf Outing. This is a yearly event that raises money to provide students with scholarship money. This year’s event enabled us to award a $3,000 scholarship to a worthy senior.
